Jill Vance
Alongside a core employers’ liability and public liability practice, Jill acts for commercial insurers in large-loss recovery litigation, pursuing the recovery of significant insured losses. She also advises on motor claims across all court jurisdictions.
In the last year, Jill has concluded a number of employers’ liability claims involving catastrophic injuries on favourable terms, following detailed investigation of liability and causation, and has recovered substantial sums for clients in large-loss recovery actions.
Jill qualified as a solicitor in 2009. She joined Nathaniel Lacy LLP in 2013, having previously worked in a number of specialist defence litigation practices, and became a Partner in 2018.
Outside work, Jill is a keen tennis, padel and hill-walking enthusiast who also enjoys the theatre, reading and travelling with her family.
