Peig Lenehan
Peig spent ten years as an in-house solicitor with leading insurance companies before joining Nathaniel Lacy LLP in 2026. She approaches the defence of a claim the way her clients do, with a working knowledge of claims management, insurer requirements and the legal and practical decision-making that happens on the client side of an instruction.
She advises insurers on road traffic accident, employers’ liability, public liability, occupiers’ liability, property damage, defamation, recovery and fatal injury claims, and has experience in claims arising in healthcare settings, acting in the District Court, Circuit Court and High Court. Peig has acted in a number of insurance-fraud cases that attracted national press coverage.
Peig qualified as a solicitor in 2010 and has practised in defence litigation throughout her career. She is admitted as a solicitor in Ireland and in England and Wales.
Outside work, Peig enjoys hiking and travel.
